YEAH! I was 12 weeks last Friday and that means my 1st trimester is officially over! I thought it wasn’t until this Friday at 13 weeks that it was over but I checked with my doctor this morning and she says I was done at 12 weeks…YEAH! So exciting to be past that hurdle I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief. So now onto the exciting news…..Mike and I heard the heartbeat for the first time this morning at my appt. It was so cute! The heartbeat was 141-151 beats per minute which is perfect and you could also actually hear the sound that my placenta makes and the doctor was all excited about that so it must have been a healthy placenta or something. She is really pleased with where I am at she said my tests all came back good, the heartbeat sounds good and wasn’t concerned at all about the swelling of my hands and feet or tingling parts that fall asleep. She just says it’s the extra water weight you carry when your pregnant and said if it’s bothersome to me to cut back on my salt intake but wasn’t concerned medically. My next appt is May 30th and then after that the appt in June we get to find out the sex of the baby. SO EXCITING….tomorrow Mike and I leave for Ohio for 5 day and Florida for 5 days so keep us in your prayers as we travel. We have never had such precious cargo!
