9.5 Weeks Left
So I am 30 ½ weeks along which means I only have 9 ½ weeks to go. I like saying it in weeks because it sounds less than 2 months =) I must say I am getting very very excited for this little girl to come out. We purchased the crib and dresser/changing table over the weekend and put her little room together and now going in there is torture because I just want her here so bad. Daddy carried her furniture up the stairs and put it together all by himself and trust me this is not light furniture. We have some cute shelves to put up and of course all the stuff we get from the shower will go in here but these pictures should give you a good glimpse into her little sanctuary. I am absolutely in love with it. I am feeling a bit better the last 2 weeks, I have scaled way back on my working out and so my pubic bone is feeling better. We started our Bradley Method birthing classes this past Monday and they will last for a total of 10 weeks so right before I am due. We really enjoyed the first class and are looking forward to the rest of them. The classes meet every Monday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. We have homework and stuff to do at home one of which is I have to relax for 10 minutes twice a day…LOVE IT. Once by myself and the other right before bed Mike has to massage me and tickle me for 10-15 minutes with dim lighting, soft music and candles burning. It’s so nice, it will hopefully help me get into the habit of relaxing at Mike’s touch and voice. He has been so great about taking care of me and taking on extra tasks around the house. Also on a side note most of you know he is the freshman football coach at Temescal Canyon High School and last Thursday was their first game (on Mike’s birthday) and they won 35-0. Today they play again so say a little prayer that him and Mikey kick butt. Yesterday I went to my doctors and everything is normal and good to go. I am now going every 2 weeks and will soon start going every week. I have one final ultrasound at 37 weeks so around Oct 18th. So that’s pretty much it for now I am really looking forward to my baby showers this Sunday and next Saturday so I will write more after them.
